Astronomer, the company behind Astro - the industry-leading unified DataOps platform powered by Apache Airflow®, is seeking a Frontend Software Engineer to join their Observability team. This role focuses on developing Astro Observe, a critical component of their expansion strategy. The position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced startup environment, contributing to the design and implementation of user experiences that help customers gain better visibility into their data pipelines.

The ideal candidate will bring 1-3 years of engineering experience with strong expertise in TypeScript and React. They'll work closely with cross-functional teams to implement observability and governance features, while contributing to the platform's overall usability and scalability. The role requires strong communication skills and experience with modern software development practices including CI/CD, testing, and version control.
