Product Engineer (Frontend)

Atla is seeking a Product Engineer to build intuitive and novel user experiences for their AI model evaluation platform. As a key member of the team, you'll own the customer-facing platform and design seamless workflows that make AI model evaluation effortless.

The role involves owning and building the platform that lets users align evaluators to their preferences, actively contributing to user research, usability testing, and setting the direction. You'll design intuitive user flows from onboarding to advanced analytics, ensuring high-quality UX/UI. Working closely with founders, product, engineering, and research teams, you'll translate cutting-edge AI capabilities into accessible products.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building and scaling frontend systems using React and TypeScript
• Contributing to APIs, databases, and backend logic for a smooth product experience
• Conducting user research and usability testing
• Designing responsive layouts and intuitive interfaces
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience at companies known for world-class UX (like Figma, Spotify, Apple, Notion, or Revolut), strong frontend development skills, and experience with relational databases and cloud platforms. Knowledge of Python and experience with AI/ML products is a plus.
