Auria is seeking a Network Systems Engineer 2 to join their team supporting the Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) program in Colorado Springs, CO. This role is crucial in supporting a vital operational system that enables U.S. military leadership to plan and manage ballistic missile defense operations.
The position involves working as a Junior Engineer on the NES ART, helping develop and implement the Network Systems Engineering Plan. You'll serve as a liaison between Networks ART and the Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test Resource Managed Area, ensuring standardized processes and procedures.
The role requires an active SECRET clearance and strong technical background, with either a Bachelor's degree in STEM plus 2 years of experience, a Master's degree, or 6 years of equivalent experience. You'll need DoD 8140 certification at IAT - Level II or higher, demonstrating your expertise in cybersecurity.
Key responsibilities include managing Networks requirements, developing system engineering artifacts, and creating high-level design materials for the Missile Defense System Communication Network Implementation Specification. You'll work in an integrated team environment, applying systems engineering principles to develop solutions.

- Help with Networks requirements activities and management of Networks requirements baseline
- Support development and review of system engineering artifacts
- Develop high-level design material for Missile Defense System Communication Network Implementation Specification
- Act as Junior Engineer on the NES ART

Requirements For Network Systems Engineer
- Active SECRET clearance
- Bachelor's Degree in STEM with 2 years experience, or Master's degree with 0 years experience, or 6 years experience
- DoD 8140 certification at IAT - Level II or higher
- Experience with requirements specifications
- Experience in model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and MBSE tools
- Understanding of systems engineering process and principles
- Experience with system engineering principles
- Experience working in an integrated team environment
