Auria, a leading provider of space and cybersecurity solutions, is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join their team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This role focuses on developing and maintaining the Command and Control System – Consolidated (CCS-C) for satellite operations.
The position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced software developers interested in working on critical space and defense systems. You'll be responsible for designing and implementing technical products within the CCS-C system, working with cutting-edge technologies in satellite control and communications.
The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills in languages like Java, C++, and JavaScript, along with experience in modern IT infrastructure including cloud deployment and containerization. A background in DOD communication systems and satellite control networks is highly valuable.
This role requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a TOP SECRET security clearance, reflecting the important nature of the work. The compensation package is competitive, ranging from $83,000 to $130,000, based on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities For Software Developer
- Design, develop, implement, integrate, and document technical products within the CCS-C system
- Work with system developers, testers, and support personnel
- Provide technical advice and deliver customer presentations
- Support Data Products Development including APIs, databases, HMI, simulations
- Attend technical engineering team meetings
- Support system updates and resolve system issues
Requirements For Software Developer
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain TOP SECRET clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline with 7+ years experience, or Master's with 4+ years experience
- Experience with structured and Object Oriented Programming Languages (C, C#, C++, Java, JavaScript)
- Experience with modern IT infrastructure, virtualization, cloud deployment and containerization
- Familiarity with DOD communication systems and subsystems
- Experience working within an agile system development framework
- Excellent organizational skills
- Security+ certification (preferred)
- Experience with Satellite Control Network and Wideband SATCOM systems (preferred)
