Senior Software Engineer II

Axon is seeking a Senior Software Engineer II to join their Records Agency Operations group, focusing on developing innovative cloud-based records management systems for law enforcement agencies. The position involves working on critical modules including detective investigation tools, property tracking, internal affairs, and workflow tracking. As a Senior Engineer II, you'll be responsible for designing and developing scalable, secure software solutions while providing technical leadership across multiple teams. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you'll play a key role in shaping system architectures and engineering practices.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of software development experience, with expertise in cloud-based systems and full-stack development using languages like Go, Java, TypeScript, and JavaScript. Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and messaging technologies like Kafka is essential. You'll collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to create solutions that help law enforcement agencies operate more efficiently.

This hybrid role is based in Seattle, offering flexibility to work from home while maintaining connection with Axon's vibrant culture through in-person collaboration.
