Senior Partner Engineer II

Axon is seeking a Senior Partner Engineer II to join their Platform Firmware team, focusing on scaling Firmware Infrastructure and managing Joint Development Manufacturers (JDM) for next-generation products. This hybrid role combines firmware engineering, release management, technical project management, and DevOps engineering skills. The position is critical for Axon's 10-year mission to reduce deaths between police and public by 50%.

The role involves managing firmware development for two new IoT product lines, working with vendors in Asia-Pacific. You'll ensure firmware artifacts meet Axon's engineering standards, integrate smoothly with manufacturing processes, and align with adjacent engineering teams' needs. The position requires expertise in Embedded Linux and Android systems, with responsibility for code quality, technical documentation, and release management.

Working from either Seattle or Scottsdale, you'll collaborate with international teams, travel approximately 15% to APAC and other locations, and report to the Director of Engineering.
