Senior Partner Engineer II

Axon is seeking a Senior Partner Engineer II to join their Platform Firmware team, focusing on scaling Firmware Infrastructure and managing Joint Development Manufacturers (JDM) for next-generation products. This hybrid role combines firmware engineering, release management, technical project management, and DevOps engineering responsibilities. The position is critical for Axon's 10-year moonshot to reduce deaths between police and public by 50%.

The role involves working with embedded Linux and Android platforms, managing firmware artifacts, and ensuring high-quality deliverables from JDM partners. You'll be responsible for commercializing two new IoT product lines, working closely with vendors in the Asia-Pacific region. The position requires strong technical expertise in firmware development, excellent communication skills, and the ability to bridge gaps between different engineering teams.

Key responsibilities include managing vendor relations, reviewing source code, performing engineering verification, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and maintaining firmware release calendars. The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of experience, strong technical background in embedded systems, and the ability to work across different time zones.
