Principle Engineer

Bank of America is seeking a Principal Engineer to join their Enterprise Payments Technology (EPT) team. This role is part of a global payments team that provides a wide range of financial platforms and services, facilitating approximately 18.8 billion transactions annually worth $693 trillion. The position focuses on the Merchant Business Software Suite (MBSS) team, responsible for delivering a large-scale, multi-year program to provide scalable and customizable point-of-sale software across various industry verticals.

As a Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for defining and leading the engineering approach for solutions at the program or portfolio level. You'll work closely with Architecture teams to develop and implement technical enablers, lead complex feature planning and design, and provide technical oversight for multiple teams. The role requires expertise in payment systems, merchant services, and modern software development practices.
