Description For Forward Deployed Engineer

Brainbase is revolutionizing enterprise workflow automation by enabling companies to create AI workers that work alongside human teams. Built on a proprietary AI agent language developed during the founder's Harvard PhD studies, Brainbase allows for more complex workflows over longer time horizons.

As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring enterprise customer success. This hands-on, customer-facing role requires technical expertise, resourcefulness, and excellent communication skills. You'll be the customer's expert and advocate, handling deployments for diverse organizations from government agencies to airlines.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Customizing and deploying Brainbase for various use cases
  • Building custom integrations and microservices
  • Prompt engineering
  • Managing customer communications and feedback
  • Working directly with engineering, sales teams and CEO
  • Serving as technical point of contact for partners

Technical requirements:

  • US work permit (OPT accepted, no H1-B sponsorship)
  • NodeJS, Python, AWS, & TypeScript experience
  • Backend service deployment capability
  • Customer-facing experience
  • LLM experience (OpenAI API, Langchain/LangGraph)
  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit
