Applications Developer

Broadcom ECD, a leader in Fibre Channel/NVMe Storage Area Network technology, is seeking an Applications Developer to join their development team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge networking and Storage Area Network products, where you'll be responsible for designing, developing, debugging, and testing Application Software.

The position is based in Irvine, CA, and offers a competitive salary range of $115,800 - $117,000, along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and equity opportunities. The role requires either a BS degree with 2+ years of experience or an MS degree in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering.

As an Applications Developer, you'll work with state-of-the-art FC/NVME HBA products, collaborating with cross-functional teams across multiple sites. The role demands proficiency in various programming languages (C, C++, Python, Java, JavaScript), frontend development skills (React), and experience with DevOps tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins. You'll also need strong knowledge of Linux OS administration and database management.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent troubleshooting abilities, experience with testing methodologies, and strong communication skills.
