Communications Systems/DSP Design Engineer

This role requires expertise in end-to-end fixed point communication systems and DSP System Design Engineering for fiber optic physical transceiver products. The ideal candidate will join a team of highly competent system and ASIC designers involved in architecture design, verification, and implementation of advanced signal processing algorithms for high-speed data communication networks.

Key responsibilities include developing specifications and architectures for signal processing algorithms, defining chip requirements, conducting system modeling and simulations, and performing lab testing and debugging of ASICs. The role also involves customer support and documentation development.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of experience (or equivalent combinations of education and experience), strong knowledge in Communication Theory and Digital Signal Processing algorithms, and proficiency in tools like MATLAB/Simulink, C/C++, Python, Unix, and Linux.
