Broadcom is seeking a High Speed RTL Design Engineer to join their team. This role requires an experienced professional with a strong background in RTL design and high-speed serial interconnect architectures.
Key Qualifications:
- MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
- 10+ years of experience in RTL design
- Proficient with Verilog-HDL/System Verilog coding
- Expertise in front-end tools like NCVerilog, NCSIM, Simvision, Lint
- Knowledge of Design for Test (DFT) and scan concepts
- Deep understanding of high-speed serial interconnect architectures (100G/200G per lane PAM4)
- Experience in synthesis, CDC, static timing analysis
- Familiarity with SDF annotated simulations and parasitic delays
- Strong design management skills and knowledge of development methodologies
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Experience with TSMC 7nm-2nm technology nodes
Desired Skills:
- Understanding of micro-architecture with standard peripherals (AMBA BUS/I2C/SPI/UART)
- Knowledge of Signal Integrity and Power Integrity modeling
- Experience with Verilog AMS simulation and analog circuit behavioral models
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multifunctional role
Broadcom offers a competitive compensation package, including:
- Annual base salary range: $141,000 - $225,000
- Discretionary annual bonus
