Description For Test Development Engineer
Broadcom is seeking a Test Development Engineer to join their team in Singapore-Yishun. This role involves creating ATE (Advantest SmarTest PS1600) test programs and integrating various test functions to support First Silicon bring up for wafer and package in NPI phase. The engineer will perform design validation, characterization, and experiments on ATE across process, voltage, frequency, and temperature. They will evaluate test and product margins, debug issues, and communicate results to various teams. The role requires expertise in ATE test tools, hardware design, and test time reduction. The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of product engineering, failure analysis, and manufacturing test processes. They should be interested in learning and implementing new technologies and test methodologies. Strong communication skills and a result-oriented mindset are essential. Responsibilities For Test Development Engineer
- Create ATE (Advantest SmarTest PS1600) test programs and integrate test functions for First Silicon bring up
- Perform design validation, characterization, and experiments on ATE across various parameters
- Evaluate test and product margins, debug issues, and communicate results to teams
- Utilize ATE test tools and instruments for debugging and analysis
- Support ATE test hardware design/debug and test time reduction
- Support proto demands/qualification for IP owner and customer requests
- Complete test development, test program transfer, and product release at milestones
- Initiate, plan, and execute multiple projects to achieve targets
Requirements For Test Development Engineer
