Senior Backend Software Engineer

Capital on Tap, a fintech company serving over 200,000 businesses worldwide, is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join their Acquisition, Credit, Decisioning, and Compliance team (ACDC) in London. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement with 2 days per week in their Shoreditch office.

The position involves building and maintaining critical systems for customer applications, onboarding, and security. You'll work with modern technologies including .Net Core, C#, SQL Server, and cloud platforms (Azure & GCP). The team is responsible for creating seamless application experiences, integrating credit data sources, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you'll have the freedom to make empowered decisions, research new technologies, and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture. The role requires strong expertise in backend development, particularly with .Net technologies, and a proven track record of building scalable solutions.
