Distinguished Engineer, Risk Management Data Architect

Capital One is seeking a Distinguished Engineer to lead their Risk Management Data Architecture initiatives. The role demands expertise in AWS Cloud technologies, event-based stream processing, and data architecture. You'll work with technologies like Kafka, Kinesis, Spark, and Flink, while designing high-availability, multi-region data solutions. The position requires strong coding skills in Python or Scala, along with proficiency in SQL and various data storage technologies.

As a Distinguished Engineer, you'll collaborate across organizational boundaries, working with other technical leaders to identify and foster investments in shared data services and platforms. You'll partner with senior business leads to align technical solutions with business strategy and value propositions.

The compensation package is highly competitive, ranging from $239,900 to $328,500 depending on location, plus performance-based incentives and comprehensive benefits.
