ML Research Engineer

Causaly, founded in 2018, is revolutionizing biomedical research with its generative AI platform. As an ML Research Engineer, you'll join our AI team to develop cutting-edge solutions for complex challenges in drug discovery and biomedical research.

Key responsibilities include:

• Fine-tuning large language models for biomedical tasks
• Designing intelligent agents for scientific hypothesis generation and testing
• Implementing reinforcement learning algorithms for drug discovery automation
• Developing and maintaining ML infrastructure
• Collaborating with scientists on large-scale experiments

We're looking for candidates with:

• MSc/PhD in computer science, machine learning, or equivalent
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Industry experience in AI/ML frameworks
• Expertise in PyTorch, Tensorflow, scikit-learn, Langchain
• Experience with deep learning architectures
• Excellent Python programming skills
• Agile development experience

Nice-to-have skills:

• Applied RAG experience
• Biomedical data or computational sciences background
• Reinforcement Learning framework experience
• Cloud platform knowledge (GCP or AWS)
• MLOps/LLMOps expertise
