Description For Smart Contract, Solidity Engineer (Cross Chain)

Chainlink Labs is seeking a Senior Smart Contract/Solidity Engineer to join their CCIP team. This role involves developing impactful smart contracts to secure Chainlink CCIP networks and provide best-in-class off-chain data to the blockchain ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of professional engineering experience, deep understanding of Solidity and EVM, and experience deploying multiple smart contracts to Ethereum mainnet or EVM compatible chains.

As part of the engineering team at Chainlink Labs, you'll be working on pushing the scale and capabilities of decentralized applications across the industry. Chainlink Network holds over 70% market share in the oracle space, solving real-world problems by enabling smart contracts to securely interact with off-chain data/computation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Owning large components of the smart contract architecture that secures Chainlink CCIP
  • Actively participating in leveling up yourself and peers in Solidity and smart contract development
  • Collaborating with fellow engineers to build end-to-end experiences for products
  • Working closely with operations to ensure smooth deployment and management of dApps
  • Partnering with the research team to build practical and user-friendly products
  • Collaborating with non-technical stakeholders to ensure products deliver positive user experience and meet business constraints

Chainlink Labs values talented and driven craftsmen who work collaboratively to tackle complex challenges, deliver product impact, and grow as builders. The company was ranked in Newsweek's 100 Most Loved Workplaces 2023 in both the United States and United Kingdom.

This is a remote position, with a preference for candidates who can overlap some working hours with Eastern Standard Time (EST). Chainlink Labs is committed to equal opportunity and welcomes applicants from all backgrounds.
