Responsibilities For Senior Analytics Engineer, Data Platform
- Design and implement RBAC on Snowflake to meet business and compliance requirements
- Enforce data governance policies and practices
- Design and implement scalable data models for Core data mart
- Develop and optimize SQL queries for analytics and reporting
- Improve data team productivity through framework contributions
- Build data observability systems
- Build world-class development environment and CI/CD system
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Mentor other Analytics Engineers
Requirements For Senior Analytics Engineer, Data Platform
- 5+ years experience writing complex SQL
- Deep DBT core experience
- Experience with Snowflake or other cloud database platforms
- Proficiency in Python or other data-centric language
- Experience with workflow management frameworks
- Experience building observable data systems
- Familiar with dimensional data modeling techniques
- Strong documentation and data debugging skills
- Comfortable working in rapidly changing environment
