Responsibilities For OpenText Webroot Engineer

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain Webroot endpoint protection solutions to safeguard against malware, phishing, and other cyber threats
  • Monitor and manage endpoint protection policies, ensuring comprehensive coverage and minimal false positives
  • Perform threat analysis and remediation for incidents detected by Webroot systems
  • Regularly assess the health and performance of the endpoint protection environment and recommend improvements
  • Integrate Webroot with other security tools in the organization's ecosystem
  • Deliver user training and awareness programs to promote secure computing practices
  • Provide regular security status reports to stakeholders, highlighting trends and metrics

Requirements For OpenText Webroot Engineer

Linux
  • Strong background in endpoint security and malware analysis
  • Hands-on experience with Webroot or similar endpoint protection platforms
  • Familiarity with network security concepts and tools (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS)
  • Certifications in endpoint security or related areas (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Webroot certification) are preferred
