Software Principal Senior Engineer

Dell Technologies is seeking a Principal Senior Software Engineer to join their Security Development team in Bucharest, Romania. This role is a critical position within the code signing team, where you'll be responsible for developing and integrating sophisticated security-based tools and systems.

The position requires deep expertise in cryptography, software development, and security systems. You'll be working on end-to-end signing processes, acting as a liaison for HSM and Firmware signing processes, and researching cutting-edge signing mechanisms including Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC). The role involves close collaboration with system architects, firmware teams, and both internal and external partners.

As a Principal Senior Engineer, you'll be contributing to high-level technical decisions, architecture design, and complex problem-solving. The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills in C/C++, deep understanding of cryptographic principles, and experience with security protocols and standards. Knowledge of UEFI, firmware development, and modern CI/CD practices is highly valued.
