Delta, a part of eToro, is seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join their team in their beautiful historic office building in the heart of Ghent, Belgium. As a DevOps Engineer, you'll be responsible for the critical infrastructure that powers Delta's financial platform, which serves millions of investors daily. The role involves working with cutting-edge technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and various databases like MySQL, Redis, and ElasticSearch.

Responsibilities For DevOps Engineer

  • Building, maintaining, and scaling the infrastructure powering the Delta platform
  • Managing Docker containers in ECS and Kubernetes
  • Managing data persistence in MySQL, Redis, and ElasticSearch
  • Maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Github Actions
  • Managing AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform

Requirements For DevOps Engineer

  • BS (or higher, e.g. MS or PhD) in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience
  • Passionate, pragmatic attitude, fast learner
  • Ability to diagnose technical problems, debug code and automate routine tasks
  • Analytical approach with solid communication skills and sense of ownership
  • Experience with NodeJS, MySQL, Redis
  • Knowledge of AWS cloud, Linux
  • Experience with Github Actions, Kubernetes, Datadog
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloudformation, Helm, FluxCD, Ansible)
