Software Engineer (Platform, Security, Risk)

As a Software Engineer (Platform, Security & Risks), you'll work closely with peers across product, design, and leadership to build amazing products and features for the Deputy platform. You'll be part of the platform core team, focusing on security aspects of system services and infrastructure, while collaborating with other teams to build foundational and reusable systems, services, and architecture.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing solutions with cloud security best practices
• Aligning with compliance and security controls to mitigate risks
• Encouraging innovation and continuous improvement
• Engaging in technical discussions and mentoring junior engineers

We're looking for a problem solver with strong experience in information security fundamentals, distributed web-based applications, and cloud technologies. You should have expertise in SAST & DAST, CI/CD pipelines, web application vulnerabilities, and authentication & authorization platforms.
