Full-Stack Engineer

DevCycle is seeking a motivated Full-Stack Engineer to join their growing team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for early-career developers passionate about building real products and working with modern technologies.

The ideal candidate will contribute to the design and implementation of their full-stack application, writing clean code in TypeScript, Node.js, React, and Next.js. They'll collaborate with product managers and engineers to ship features, debug production issues, and gradually take ownership of system components.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building and maintaining full-stack applications
• Writing clean, maintainable code
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Troubleshooting production issues
• Participating in code reviews
• Staying current with JavaScript/TypeScript trends

Requirements:

• 1-3+ years of full-stack JavaScript/TypeScript experience
• Node.js and React production experience
• Testing and debugging knowledge
• Git and CI/CD workflow experience
• Strong communication skills
• Based in Canada (EST hours)

The tech stack includes TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js, Nest.js, React for frontend/backend, AWS, Cloudflare Workers, Kubernetes, Terraform for infrastructure, and MongoDB, Redis, Snowflake for data.

DevCycle offers a flexible work environment with preference for Greater Toronto Area candidates (1-2 office days/week), but considers remote work across Canada. They provide an opportunity to work on developer tools that impact how teams deploy and manage features in production.
