Description For Principal Data Engineer, Architect

Disney Entertainment & ESPN Product & Technology (DEEP&T) is seeking a Principal Data Engineer, Architect to join their innovative team. This role is part of the Product & Data Engineering team responsible for end-to-end development of Disney's world-class consumer-facing products, including streaming platforms Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+, and digital products & experiences across ESPN, Marvel, Disney Studios, NatGeo, and ABC News.

As a Principal Data Engineer, you will be at the forefront of designing and developing scalable, high-performance data architecture that supports both operational and analytical use cases. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies and lead the integration of new data management tools into existing structures. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams including product management, software engineers, and data scientists to align architecture with business requirements.
