Senior Software Engineer

The Commerce, Growth & Identity (CGI) team is seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to join their Payment team.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for managing crucial payment systems and playing an integral role in our multi-tenant system that processes payments for millions of customers across Disney+, ESPN+, Hulu, and the upcoming Star platforms. You'll work on ensuring these systems remain highly available, scalable, and resilient.

Key aspects of the role include:

• Designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems
• Working with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, RDS, ElastiCache, CloudFront)
• Managing relational and NoSQL databases
• Taking ownership of features/functionality and delivering end-to-end projects
• Collaborating with multi-functional business partners
• Contributing to technical architecture and direction of Tier 1 services
• Exploring international payment landscapes and addressing global payment challenges

The role offers competitive compensation ranging from $145,400 to $195,000 in New York/Seattle, $152,100 to $203,900 in San Francisco, and $138,900 to $186,200 in Los Angeles, plus bonuses and comprehensive benefits.
