Description For Software Engineer II

Disney Entertainment & ESPN Technology is at the forefront of reimagining magical viewing experiences for the world's most beloved stories. The Product & Data Engineering team is responsible for developing world-class consumer-facing products including Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+. The NCPF Orchestration team specifically builds systems that drive deployments at scale across multiple partners and devices. This role offers the opportunity to work on critical services that support all NCPF Teams, building reliable and scalable solutions that coordinate efforts across NCPF, Media Engineering, and Brand Alliances. Responsibilities For Software Engineer II

  • Build and operate systems for managing NCPF deployments across all Brands
  • Coordinate and review requests across NCPF, Brands Alliances, and Media Engineering
  • Assess production health across more than 50 partners

Requirements For Software Engineer II

Rust
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in relevant work
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++, Rust, or other lower-level programming languages
  • Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Strong communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
