This Senior Software Engineer role sits in the Parks Commercial Platforms organization within Technology & Digital for Disney Experiences. The position focuses on building new features and improving existing components of Disney Commerce Payment Platform, specifically in Cart and Checkout systems.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll be working with cutting-edge technology to develop and enhance commercial platforms that directly impact millions of Disney guests. You'll be responsible for leading small projects, writing efficient code, and ensuring high-quality software delivery through thorough testing and debugging.

The role requires strong expertise in modern JavaScript-based applications and development frameworks, with a focus on creating dynamic, mobile-friendly web applications. You'll be working in an agile environment, collaborating with product teams to define system requirements and implement solutions that scale effectively.

Key technical requirements include:

• Strong foundation in Computer Science fundamentals
• Expertise in design patterns (Singleton, Factory, Observer, etc.)
• Proficiency in data structures and algorithms
• Experience with modern web technologies and frameworks
• Knowledge of RESTful Web Services and AWS Suite
