Responsibilities For Software Engineer (Backend)

  • Help build and maintain an Enterprise B2B SaaS platform backend and API
  • Define and implement APIs and design patterns and enforce them for consistency across teams
  • Enhance the product by placing a high priority on code quality
  • Help to set a high-bar on code quality by writing thorough unit and integration tests
  • Collaborate and communicate on backend decisions
  • Ensure compliance with security regulations
  • Design strategies for future development projects based on the company's overall objectives and resources

Requirements For Software Engineer (Backend)

  • 3-5 years of hands-on work experience as junior or mid-level position in a software engineering department
  • Recent development experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, and Node.js

  • Track record leading, developing, and delivering software projects using industry standard design patterns
  • Good understanding of Agile methodologies, cycle planning, and estimating
