Description For Engineer (Kubernetes Orchestrator)

EMW, Inc. is seeking a Senior Kubernetes Orchestrator Engineer for their location in Braine-l'Alleud, Belgium. This is a contract position running from April 13, 2025 to December 31, 2025, requiring NATO Secret clearance. The role focuses on managing and optimizing Kubernetes environments, working under the Service Delivery Manager of Service Oriented Architecture and Identity and Access Management. The position demands expertise in container orchestration, infrastructure automation, and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in Kubernetes orchestration and a strong background in DevOps practices. This role offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge container technologies and implement modern infrastructure solutions in a secure environment. The position requires full-time on-site presence and involves working in a normal office environment with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities For Engineer (Kubernetes Orchestrator)

Design and deploy highly available, secure, and scalable Kubernetes clusters
Collaborate with development teams to containerize applications
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices
Establish monitoring and logging solutions
Optimize Kubernetes cluster performance
Implement security best practices
Diagnose and resolve complex issues
Work with development, operations, and security teams

Requirements For Engineer (Kubernetes Orchestrator)

Kubernetes

Linux

Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments
Deep understanding of containerization technologies like Docker, Podman
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi)
Familiarity with Rancher, Openshift, Docker
Familiarity with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
Experience with service meshes (Istio or Linkerd)
Experience with HELM and CI/CD (ArgoCD/GitOps)
Experience with Storage solutions (S3, MinIO, Nooba)
Proficient in Bash or Python
NATO Secret security clearance required
