Responsibilities For Senior/Principal Industrial Automation Engineer

  • Own, improve and innovate upon gravity energy storage systems design
  • Design, write, and commission automation code utilizing Beckhoff TWINCAT PLC Software
  • Implement and troubleshoot designs and code on site
  • Collaborate with other engineers (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, and Structural)
  • Mentor a midlevel engineer

Requirements For Senior/Principal Industrial Automation Engineer

  • 5+ years of engineering experience and a Masters'/Doctoral degree; or 7+ years with Bachelor's; or 9+ years with Associates; or 11+ years with high school diploma
  • Extensive experience as a Beckhoff automation programmer
  • Field experience on industrial construction sites and/or manufacturing facilities
  • Motion control experience, preferably including VFD Control of heavy loads
  • Coding experience using PID Controller
  • Willingness to work at Snyder, Texas Innovation Center site
