Responsibilities For Senior/Principal Industrial Automation Engineer
- Own, improve and innovate upon gravity energy storage systems design
- Design, write, and commission automation code utilizing Beckhoff TWINCAT PLC Software
- Implement and troubleshoot designs and code on site
- Collaborate with other engineers (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, and Structural)
- Mentor a midlevel engineer
Requirements For Senior/Principal Industrial Automation Engineer
- 5+ years of engineering experience and a Masters'/Doctoral degree; or 7+ years with Bachelor's; or 9+ years with Associates; or 11+ years with high school diploma
- Extensive experience as a Beckhoff automation programmer
- Field experience on industrial construction sites and/or manufacturing facilities
- Motion control experience, preferably including VFD Control of heavy loads
- Coding experience using PID Controller
- Willingness to work at Snyder, Texas Innovation Center site
