Description For Software Engineer (Remote)

Epsilon3 is seeking a Software Engineer to join their innovative team developing operations management platforms for spacecraft and advanced hardware systems. Founded in 2021 by engineers from SpaceX, Google, and NASA, the company has raised $15M Series A funding and serves clients like Blue Origin, Rocket Lab, and Axiom Space.

The role involves creating web-based operational dashboards and electronic procedure tools for space missions. You'll work with technologies like Node.js, React, Postgres, AWS GovCloud, Docker, and Kubernetes. Key technical challenges include real-time data synchronization between Earth and space, complex data visualization, and maintaining mission-critical security.

As a Software Engineer, you'll design and implement software systems, create APIs, rapidly prototype demos, and participate in customer discovery calls. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience, strong JavaScript framework knowledge, and excellent communication skills.

The position offers competitive compensation ($120,000 - $175,000), stock options, health insurance, and 401k matching. The team meets quarterly for hackathons and team bonding. This remote role requires US citizenship due to potential security clearance requirements.

Join a fast-growing startup that's revolutionizing space operations while working with cutting-edge technology and contributing to real space missions. The role offers both technical challenges and direct customer interaction, making it perfect for engineers passionate about space exploration and scalable software solutions.
