Fidelity Brokerage is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to lead the architectural vision for their Wealth Management business domain. This is a strategic role that combines hands-on technical leadership with high-level solution design across multiple product areas.
The ideal candidate will drive end-to-end solution architecture for both retail investing (brokerage accounts, managed services, banking) and workplace investing (401ks, health insurance accounts) platforms. You'll be responsible for designing scalable, secure solutions that align with business priorities while working collaboratively across product teams and business units.
Key responsibilities include owning all aspects of solution architecture from security to data strategy, leading digital modernization efforts, and ensuring architectural best practices are followed. The role requires deep expertise in cloud architecture, microservices, DevSecOps, and building highly scalable systems.

Responsibilities For Director, Architecture
- Drive end-to-end solution architecture for Wealth Management business domain
- Work with product teams across retail investing and workplace investing spaces
- Design solutions that meet business priorities and initiatives
- Lead all aspects of solution architecture including security and data strategy
- Collaborate across product areas and business units
- Drive digital modernization efforts
Requirements For Director, Architecture
- Proven experience in architecture, including scalability, resilience, security, and data architecture
- Experience in engineering web and mobile applications end to end
- Proficient in Cloud Architecture, Services, and Patterns
- Experience in Native iOS or Android development
- Experience in DevSecOps and CI/CD automation
- Deep understanding of well architected framework implementation
- Strong understanding of Domain Driven Design
- Experience developing systems based on microservices patterns
- Experience building highly scalable architecture for Omnichannel experience platforms
