Director, Architecture

Fidelity Enterprise Architecture (FEA) is seeking an experienced User Experience Architect to drive end-to-end architecture for the Brokerage business domain. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll work directly with product teams across retail investing (brokerage accounts, managed services, banking services) and workplace investing (401ks, health-insurance related accounts) spaces.

As a Director of Architecture, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing solutions that meet business priorities and initiatives. The role requires expertise in all aspects of solution architecture, from security to data strategy, and involves close collaboration with various engineering teams.

The position demands strong technical leadership skills and deep expertise in architecture principles, API design, and scalable systems. You'll be working in a complex financial services environment, helping to modernize digital infrastructure while ensuring security, performance, and excellent user experience.

Key technologies include REST, GraphQL federation, and modern web development practices. The role offers opportunities to work with cutting-edge technologies while solving complex architectural challenges in a major financial institution.
