Senior Cloud Engineer

Fidelity Investments is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join their technology team in Westlake, TX. This role focuses on building and maintaining cloud infrastructure and applications using modern DevOps practices and cloud technologies.

The position involves building automation pipelines using DevOps concepts and CI/CD methodologies, working with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, and developing software applications using various programming languages. You'll be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions, particularly in AWS environments.

Key responsibilities include system design collaboration, testing coordination, and software specification planning. The role requires expertise in AWS services (EC2, EBS, EKS, IAM), experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, and proficiency in languages such as Java, Python, and JavaScript.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in cloud engineering within a financial services environment, with a strong background in deploying and maintaining cloud-based applications. Experience with microservices architecture, Spring Boot, and monitoring tools like Datadog is essential.
