Director, Full Stack Software Engineering

Fidelity Investments is seeking a Director of Engineering/Technical Lead to spearhead the development of next-generation AI SaaS products. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on development, focusing on building scalable, innovative solutions that leverage artificial intelligence and cloud technologies.

The position offers an opportunity to work within FCAT (Fidelity Center for Applied Technology), the innovation engine for Fidelity Investments. Key responsibilities include architecting scalable AI applications, establishing technical standards, and driving the implementation of machine learning solutions. You'll work closely with Product Leaders and Architects to define and execute technical strategy, while ensuring system performance, security, and reliability.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Python, full-stack development, and cloud technologies, particularly AWS. Experience with containerization, CI/CD, and various database technologies is essential. You'll need to demonstrate both technical excellence and leadership ability, as you'll be mentoring junior staff while driving technical decisions.
