FoodHealth Company (formerly bitewell) is seeking a DevOps Engineer to revolutionize how millions understand food health. As the first dedicated DevOps specialist, you'll lead the entire infrastructure landscape, managing cloud environments and establishing automated pipelines that will power the FoodHealth Score for tens of millions of users.
The company's mission is to create a world without diet-related disease through their innovative FoodHealth Score - a proprietary nutrition scoring system combining cutting-edge science with technology to provide transparency into food healthfulness. They partner with food retail, manufacturing, and data companies to help customers make healthier choices.
As a DevOps Engineer, you'll be responsible for cloud architecture transformation across Digital Ocean and AWS, implementing CI/CD processes, optimizing performance, developing infrastructure as code, and ensuring robust security protocols. You'll work closely with software engineers in PHP, Laravel, and Python environments.
The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with cloud services, container orchestration, and infrastructure as code tools. Strong technical communication skills and problem-solving abilities are essential. You should be comfortable with the fast-paced startup environment and bring creative energy to technical challenges.
This role offers a competitive salary range of $140K-$190K, plus equity, bonus, and comprehensive benefits.
