Software Engineer

Freshpaint is revolutionizing how healthcare companies handle customer data while maintaining HIPAA compliance. As a Software Engineer, you'll be instrumental in building and expanding our privacy-first platform that enables healthcare providers to harness customer data safely and effectively.

Our platform solves a critical challenge in healthcare marketing - allowing companies to use modern analytics and advertising tools while protecting sensitive patient data. We provide a sophisticated layer of data governance that makes standard web analytics HIPAA-compliant, helping healthcare providers improve patient experience while safeguarding privacy.

You'll join a remote-first team of analytics veterans from companies like Heap, Pendo, and Retool, working on complex technical challenges in a massive market (healthcare represents 20% of US GDP). The role offers significant autonomy and impact, with opportunities to:

• Build and enhance our core privacy platform that healthcare customers rely on
• Develop sophisticated tools for audience analytics and marketing optimization
• Work directly with customers to understand their needs and deliver immediate value
• Collaborate through pair programming in an iterative, exploration-friendly environment

We're looking for engineers who:

• Have 3+ years of software engineering experience
• Learn quickly and adapt to new technologies
• Take ownership and drive results efficiently
• Can understand and architect complex systems
• Demonstrate high empathy and strong communication skills

Bonus points for experience with our stack (Golang, TypeScript, AWS, Postgres) or background in analytics/customer data.
