Application Engineer, Supply Chain Intelligence and Innovation

Google is seeking an Application Engineer to join their Supply Chain Intelligence and Innovation team. This role combines software engineering expertise with supply chain domain knowledge to deliver intelligent supply chain solutions through innovation for Alphabet. The position involves leading web development, requirements gathering, and software development while working closely with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for propelling the supply chain through automated business processes, leveraging industry best practices, and information orchestration. They will focus on scaling supply chain planning and order management by minimizing human touch points, implementing SKU visibility, automated response to forecast, and supplier collaboration excellence.

This is a remote-eligible position based in Mexico, requiring strong technical skills in Java and API development, combined with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. The role offers an opportunity to work on complex business challenges while maintaining high standards of development practices.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 4 years of experience with Java and API development. Knowledge of supply chain processes and experience with enterprise software implementation are highly valued.
