Cloud Solutions Architect, Rapid Innovation Team

Google is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to join their Public Sector Rapid Innovation Team. This role combines software development expertise with cloud architecture to create innovative solutions for government and educational institutions. As part of Google Cloud's Professional Services team, you'll guide customers through their cloud transformation journey, leveraging Google's global infrastructure and cutting-edge technology.

The position requires a unique blend of technical expertise and customer-facing skills. You'll be responsible for developing full-stack prototypes using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, translating customer requirements into practical solutions, and creating scalable packages that can be marketed by the Google Public Sector Go-To-Market team. The role involves significant work with AI/ML, Big Data Analytics, and Cloud Infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include leading solution workshops, developing prototypes within 6-week timeframes, implementing agile methodologies, and creating cross-platform architectures. You'll work in a collaborative environment, partnering with both technical and non-technical team members to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.

The position offers competitive compensation ($147,000-$216,000 base salary) plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits. This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance or eligibility and will be based in either Reston, VA or Washington D.C. The ideal candidate will have experience with ML frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch, strong full-stack development skills, and a proven track record in cloud computing and customer-facing roles.
