Cloud Solutions Architect, Rapid Innovation Team

Google Cloud is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to join their Public Sector Rapid Innovation Team. This role combines software development expertise with cloud architecture to help transform government and educational institutions. As a key member of the Google Cloud Consulting Professional Services team, you'll guide customers through their cloud journey, leveraging Google's global network and infrastructure.

The position requires a unique blend of technical expertise and customer-facing skills. You'll be responsible for developing prototypes using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, translating experiments into scalable solutions, and creating business plays for the Go-To-Market team. Working with both internal and external stakeholders, you'll gather requirements, build success criteria, and develop roadmaps for GCP platform adoption.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies including AI/ML, Big Data Analytics, and Cloud Infrastructure. You'll be part of Google Public Sector's mission to bring Google's innovation to government and education sectors, helping institutions accelerate their digital transformations.

The position comes with competitive compensation including a base salary range of $147,000-$216,000, plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits. You'll need to maintain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information security clearance and have strong experience in full-stack development using languages like Python, JavaScript, and React.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in cross-functional teams, knowledge of ML frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch, and understanding of AI/ML concepts.
