CPU Logic Design Engineer, Google Cloud, PhD, University Graduate, Start 2025

Join Google's ML, Systems & Cloud AI (MSCA) organization as a CPU Logic Design Engineer, where you'll be part of a diverse team pushing boundaries in custom silicon solutions. This role focuses on developing hardware that powers Google's direct-to-consumer products and services. You'll work on CPU frontend designs and microarchitecture for next-generation processors, contributing to the infrastructure that supports major Google services like Search and YouTube, as well as Google Cloud.

As a PhD University Graduate, you'll apply your advanced knowledge in electrical engineering or computer science to design and implement sophisticated digital logic systems. Your responsibilities will include proposing and implementing performance-enhancing microarchitecture features, conducting trade-off studies with architects and performance teams, and delivering designs that meet strict power, performance, and area (PPA) goals.

The position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in hyperscale computing, including work related to Google Cloud's Vertex AI platform and Gemini models.
