Google Cloud is seeking a Customer Engineer III specializing in High Performance Computing (HPC) for Life Sciences. This role combines technical expertise with customer-facing responsibilities, focusing on helping Life Sciences and Healthcare customers accelerate their research and drug discovery pipelines using Google Cloud solutions.

The position requires a deep understanding of cloud native architecture, HPC concepts, and experience in the Life Sciences/Pharmaceutical industries. You'll work at the intersection of technical sales and solutions architecture, helping customers leverage Google Cloud's capabilities to transform their scientific workflows and infrastructure.

As a Customer Engineer, you'll partner with technical Sales teams as a subject matter expert, presenting solutions, conducting workshops, and developing architectural blueprints. You'll be responsible for understanding complex technical and scientific challenges in drug discovery, then crafting creative cloud solutions to address these challenges.

The role offers competitive compensation ($147,000-$218,000 base salary) plus bonus, equity, and benefits.   • Experience in High-Performance Computing (HPC) concepts, architectures, and technologies
  • Experience with cloud or on-premises infrastructure engineering
  • Experience architecting and developing software or infrastructure for scalable systems
  • Experience as an IT infrastructure consultant or enterprise architect
