The role involves working closely with Google Cloud Security products and solutions, where you'll be responsible for demonstrating and validating security solutions in customer environments, delivering technical presentations, and managing proofs-of-concept. You'll collaborate with Security Sales teams to identify opportunities and resolve technical challenges, while serving as a trusted advisor to customers on their security implementation journey.
As a Customer Engineer, you'll need to possess deep knowledge of cybersecurity trends, including areas like ransomware, zero trust, and cloud security posture management. Responsibilities For Customer Engineer, Security, Google Cloud (Spanish, English)
- Work with Security Sales and Google Cloud teams to identify and qualify business opportunities
- Work with all Google Cloud Security products to demonstrate and validate solution benefits
- Support Google Cloud Security opportunities and relationships, own technical aspects of solutions
- Prepare and deliver product messaging and value proposition
- Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events as needed
Requirements For Customer Engineer, Security, Google Cloud (Spanish, English)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 10 years of experience serving in the capacity of a technical sales engineer in a cloud computing environment, or equivalent experience in a similar customer-facing role
- Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders
- Ability to communicate in Spanish and English fluently
- Certification in the Cloud or Security industry (preferred)
- Experience in implementing security solutions for enterprises (preferred)
- Knowledge of product and solution market trends in the cybersecurity industry (preferred)
- Excellent problem-solving, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills (preferred)
