Description For Imaging System Architect, Imaging and Vision

Google is seeking an Imaging System Architect to join their Devices & Services team, which combines Google's AI, Software, and Hardware expertise to create innovative user experiences. This role focuses on developing cutting-edge imaging systems for consumer hardware products, with emphasis on eye tracking, head tracking, and hand tracking technologies.

Responsibilities For Imaging System Architect, Imaging and Vision

  • Lead development of imaging systems for Google's consumer hardware products
  • Research cutting edge mobile and future form factor technologies
  • Perform simulation and testing to define imaging requirements for tracking systems
  • Define imaging experience priorities and performance targets for multi-camera systems
  • Collaborate with System PD/EE, Camera Hardware, Android Software teams

Requirements For Imaging System Architect, Imaging and Vision

Python
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 4 years of experience working in an Imaging Systems technical environment, or 3 years of experience with an advanced degree
  • Software development experience in MATLAB or Python preferred
  • Experience with simulation for eye tracking, hand tracking, or head tracking preferred
  • Experience with proof of concept testing for consumer devices preferred
  • Knowledge of photo/video processing, ISP algorithms, multi-camera calibration preferred
  • Strong communication skills
