This role combines technical leadership with security expertise, requiring 10 years of experience in managing cross-functional risk and security programs. The position offers an attractive compensation package ranging from $227,000 to $320,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

The role demands a strategic thinker who can bridge the gap between technical implementation and business objectives, working closely with CISO, AI Products, DeepMind, and other core teams. You'll be responsible for driving Cloud's AI security outcomes, establishing governance frameworks, and ensuring compliance across multiple workstreams.

As a thought leader, you'll shape Google's approach to AI security and compliance, leveraging your extensive experience in security and program management. The position requires strong leadership capabilities, demonstrated through 7 years of leadership experience and 5 years of project management.

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 10 years of experience managing cross functional risk, security or compliance programs
  • 10 years of security work experience
  • 7 years of experience in leadership role(s) with/without direct reports
  • 5 years of experience managing projects
  • Experience with AI products, models, and platforms
  • Knowledge of Cloud products
