Responsibilities For Micro-display CMOS Backplane Architect

  • Define and architect innovative CMOS backplane designs for various micro-display technologies
  • Develop detailed specifications and block diagrams for the CMOS backplane architecture
  • Design and analyze critical analog and digital circuit blocks within the backplane
  • Optimize pixel design to enhance optical performance and minimize power consumption
  • Assess CMOS process technologies and design methodologies for microdisplay backplane development

Requirements For Micro-display CMOS Backplane Architect

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 6 years of experience in CMOS integrated circuit design focusing on display drivers, pixel arrays, or related mixed-signal ICs
  • 3 years of experience in technical leadership
  • Experience with circuit simulation tools (e.g., Cadence Spectre, Synopsys HSPICE) and digital design flows
  • Experience in architecting CMOS backplanes for microdisplays
  • Deep knowledge of pixel architectures and driving schemes for active matrix displays
  • Understanding of IC manufacturing processes
  • Solid understanding of power management and low-power design techniques
