Responsibilities For Network Engineer, Messaging

  • Maintain Google's messaging infrastructure to ensure high operational efficiency and reliability
  • Review, troubleshoot, and resolve messaging platform issues within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Objectives (SLOs)
  • Collaborate with Google product teams across Product Areas (PAs) to scope and launch new services and features
  • Diagnose and resolve complex messaging platform issues
  • Collaborate with internal product and engineering teams to provision, test, and implement messaging platform changes

Requirements For Network Engineer, Messaging

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 3 years of experience with network routing protocols, design, and troubleshooting, with network equipment providers
  • Experience with TCP/IP-based routing, and network management protocols
  • Experience in Messaging Network Engineering and Operations
