Description For Portfolio Manager, Data Center

Google's Strategic Negotiation team is seeking a Portfolio Manager for their Data Center operations in Singapore. This role is crucial in securing and managing Google's infrastructure needs, from data center space to utility services. The position involves driving location strategy, site selection, and portfolio management for both new and existing data center sites and related infrastructure. You'll play a key role in supporting the company's global energy portfolio strategy and carbon neutrality goals.

As a Portfolio Manager, you'll work with Google's Technical Infrastructure team, combining deep market knowledge with tech industry expertise to negotiate cost-effective solutions. Your responsibilities will include leading site evaluations, managing vendor relationships, and developing strategic agreements that can potentially save Google millions in operating costs.

The ideal candidate brings 6+ years of experience in real estate and infrastructure agreements, with specific knowledge of the Asia Pacific market. You'll need strong project management skills and experience in power transmission, telecommunications infrastructure, and data center technology. Requirements For Portfolio Manager, Data Center

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Real Estate, Public Policy, Finance, Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
  • 6 years of experience negotiating bilateral real estate and infrastructure agreements
  • Experience managing project delivery, including project scope, time, and budget
  • Experience in economic development policy, financial modeling, infrastructure development
  • Experience in power transmission and distribution, telecommunications infrastructure
  • Experience with real estate markets within Asia Pacific region
  • Ability to provide commercial and technical solutions
