Principal Architect, Google Cloud

Google Cloud is seeking a Principal Architect to serve as an executive hybrid technical and business advisor, leading cross-functional teams in helping customers design, plan, implement, and govern enterprise cloud strategies. This role combines deep technical expertise with business acumen, requiring the ability to lead conversations and direct Sales team execution by balancing technical goals with business insights.

The position offers a competitive base salary range of $147,000-$218,000 plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits. Based in Tennessee with remote work flexibility, this role requires 10 years of experience in cloud architecture with a strong focus on partner-facing or support roles.

As Principal Architect, you'll be responsible for enabling partners in prototypes, demonstrating product integrations, and guiding customers through legacy environment assessments. You'll work closely with Partner Managers and Product Experts to identify and recruit partners who can deliver innovative solutions to customers. The role involves building technical assets, developing solution documentation, and scaling customer wins through partner promotion.

Key qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, proven expertise in cloud architecture, and strong experience engaging with technical stakeholders and executive leaders. The ideal candidate should have experience with virtualization/containerization platforms, managing multiple stakeholders, and conducting C-level technical engagements.
