Responsibilities For Principal Architect III, Public Sector
- Build a trusted advisory relationship with accounts and engage with Architects, VP Engineering, CTO and CIO
- Provide domain expertise around public cloud and enterprise technology, and promote Google Cloud
- Make recommendations on integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure
- Manage the enterprise architecture relationship with customers
- Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events as required (approximately 30%)
Requirements For Principal Architect III, Public Sector
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 10 years of experience as an enterprise architect or equivalent experience in a customer-facing role
- Experience in cloud market insights and cloud computing across applications, infrastructure, storage, platforms, or data
- Experience working with and presenting to, technical, scientific, and executive leaders in Federal Government agencies
- Experience with structured enterprise architecture practices, hybrid cloud deployments, and on-premise-to-cloud migration deployments and roadmaps
- Experience in enterprise technology buying and evaluation processes
- Knowledge of technology solutions and ability to learn and work with new emerging technologies
- Ability to deliver results and work cross-functionally
